Christine’s Creamy Green Machine with Sun Chlorella ‘A’

Christine Bailey MSc PGCE MBANT CNHC
I absolutely love green smoothies – they are the ultimate healthy fast food.  This recipe is so creamy thanks to the addition avocado and coconut oil.  I love the deep earthy flavour of Sun Chlorella in smoothies.  Sun Chlorella is the ultimate cleansing food – the pulverised cell wall means it is highly digestible and absorbable. Packed too with protein it is one of the best sources of chlorophyll making it wonderfully energising.  Chlorella is one of the most effective detoxification foods available, capable of binding to and eliminating heavy metals and toxins from the body.

This delicious smoothie is particularly useful for soothing the digestive tract pineapple provides enzymes to support digestion, coconut oil is rich in anti-fungal capryllic acid while chlorella is cleansing and a potent anti-inflammatory. Hydrating and energising this is the perfect way to kick-start your day.
